ReStory’s verified repair loop is: receive a device, disassemble it, inspect the parts, clean the relevant components, replace faulty parts, reassemble, then complete the order or sale that brought the device to your bench.
- The game simplifies electronics repair into readable interactions rather than simulating every real-world procedure.
- Device components can be removed, cleaned, replaced, and reassembled.
- Spare parts are part of the shop and in-game browser loop.
- Exact part counts and per-device recipes are omitted unless an official source confirms them.
The six-stage repair loop
- 01Receive
Start from a customer order, online request, shop device, or other clearly presented context.
- 02Disassemble
Remove accessible screws, casing, and internal pieces while keeping track of the current device layer.
- 03Inspect
Identify which parts need attention. Do not assume every dirty-looking component needs replacing.
- 04Clean
Use the cleaning interaction on the intended parts and complete that stage before rebuilding.
- 05Replace
Source and install a replacement when the repair calls for a faulty component to be swapped.
- 06Reassemble
Return the components and casing, then complete the job according to its order or sales context.
What this workflow does not promise
The loop is supported by official descriptions, but a universal recipe would be misleading. Device part counts, exact repair values, exact materials, and the precise order for every device are not all verified. Use the database as a workflow tool, then follow the current device interface rather than forcing an unrelated recipe onto it.
Where cleaning and parts fit
Cleaning is one stage, not the entire repair. When cleaning appears not to respond, move to the Cleaning Guide. When a component needs replacing, use Spare Parts and Donor Devices before making a marketplace purchase.
FAQ / QUICK ANSWERS
Questions from the workbench
01What is the basic repair order?
Receive the device, disassemble it, inspect the components, clean as needed, replace faulty parts, and reassemble it.
02Does every device use the same exact steps?
No. The high-level loop is shared, but this guide does not claim that every device has the same parts, tools, or interaction order.
03Where do replacement parts come from?
Official material confirms that spare parts can be found through the in-game browser and acquisition systems. Donor-device use is also discussed by players.
04What happens after reassembly?
Depending on the context, the repaired device can be returned, sold, or used to complete the relevant order.
